Download on Android
These steps assume Chrome on Android. Other Android browsers work the same way but the menus may be named differently.
Steps
Copy the link in Instagram
Open the Reel or video post. Tap the share icon, then choose Copy link. On some versions it is behind the ••• menu.
Paste it into ReelFetch
Open this site in Chrome. Long-press the input field and tap Paste, then tap Get video.
Choose a version and download
The result lists every video version the post really offers. Pick one and tap Download MP4.
Wait for the notification
Chrome shows a download notification while the file is being transferred. The file is not complete until that notification reports success.
Find the file
Open the Files app (or your device’s file manager) and look in Downloads. Many gallery apps also show the video automatically once it is there.
Things that trip people up
- If Chrome asks whether to keep the file, tap Download — some Android builds ask for confirmation on larger files.
- Videos saved this way appear in the gallery on most devices, but not always immediately. Pull to refresh the gallery, or open the Files app directly.
- Data saver and battery saver modes can pause background downloads. If a transfer stalls, turn them off and retry.
- If the same file downloads twice, it is usually because the download was triggered twice. Check the Downloads folder before retrying.
